1 sheet (250g) puff pastry

For the Filling:

1 onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

200g (7 oz) spinach

1 dl (1/2 cup) water

100g (3.5 oz) tofu

15g (1/4 cup) nutritional yeast

1/2 teaspoon salt

A pinch of pepper

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

Directions

Prepare the Filling: In a pan, heat water and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Let the mixture cool down slightly.

Blend the Filling: Once cooled, place the mixture in a blender with tofu and blend until smooth.

Roll the Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle (approximately 25 cm x 35 cm or 10″ x 14″). Spread the spinach-tofu filling evenly over the dough.
