Air Fryer Corn Ribs are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional corn on the cob. This easy recipe transforms fresh corn into tender, crispy “ribs” that are perfect for a snack, side dish, or party appetizer. With a smoky, garlicky seasoning, they’re an irresistible treat, especially when paired with your favorite dipping sauce.

Full Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 3 fresh corn ears

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tsp liquid smoke

Directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Remove the husks and silks from the corn.

  2. Slice off both ends of the corn and wash thoroughly. Pat dry.

  3. Place each ear upright on a chopping board, using the flat end to stabilize. Carefully cut the corn into quarters lengthwise. You can also cut the cob width-wise, then slice each half vertically for shorter pieces.

  4. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and liquid smoke.

  5. Brush the corn ribs with the olive oil mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.

  6. Arrange the corn ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches.

  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the corn is tender with crispy edges.

  8. Serve with your favorite sauce (sour cream, ranch, or spicy lime mayo) and enjoy!
